How I Work

Hi and welcome! I want to start off by telling you a little about myself.  I love taking snapshots; candid stolen moments make my heart flutter and bring a goofy grin to my face. I consider myself a lifestyle photographer because I like to capture just that - LIFE.

As a new-to-the-business photographer, I am on a mission to learn as much as I can, all while providing you and your family with amazing moments and memories, captured by your request.

Three words that help me describe what I am trying to accomplish are:

Candid                                Joyful                               Affordable

I hate to think there are families out there that do not get fun photographs taken because of cost. Which is why I am determined to keep my prices down and to prove to you that any money you do spend is truly an investment in your family's memories.

As a mom to three kids, I completely understand the chaos that ensues in regular life and during scheduled appointments (nothing ever goes right, does it?). Please know that I am patient and caring, friendly and goofy, and darn right entertaining. If I can't whip your brood into shape, I will gladly work with you to reschedule another shoot so that we can get the perfect pimentos. Er, mementos.

Where I Work
I shoot in the great outdoors. I have a list of wonderful locations, but am always open to hearing where you would like our session to take place. Living in the beautiful Valley of the Sun gives us plenty of opportunity!

What's up with the Weather?
If it looks like crazy weather is impending, I will do my best to reschedule our session with at least 24 hours notice. I *know* what goes into getting wee ones picture perfect. I really would hate to make you do it twice! Also, please know that the best light occurs about an hour after sunrise or an hour after sunset, depending on the shoot, I may ask that we schedule our appointment close to those two times.

What should you Wear?
Clothes. I haven't taken on *that* kind of photography, yet. :D Okay, silly me. You mean what *kind* of clothes.  The number one rule is that you have to be comfortable. Second rule states you should wear something that fits your personality or that helps convey what you are hoping to accomplish with a photo shoot. Seniors & Students can wear their sports or band uniforms. Sports lovers can wear their team's jersey. Future ballerinas of the world better not even attempt to show up without their tutu.

What should you Bring?
Feel free to bring any props you would like to use in your shoot: a purple chair, your tuba, your puppy, or a pair of lime green rain boots. If you provide with me some ideas ahead of time, I may be able to offer up some additional prop ideas and perhaps bring a few of them with me.

What else do you need to Know?
The sky is the limit. Really. I want you to have fun. Heck, *I* want to have fun! If you have any questions about ANYTHING, please contact me. If you have different ideas or want to know if something is possible (location, cost, or prop related), please reach out. I really want to work with you!

;D
